Who We Are

We are a registered non-governmental organization in Europe originally focused on general human rights. In recent years we have shifted our focus to the rights of women and children in the aftermath of disaster situations. Our headquarters are located in Berlin however we work internationally. Our main source of revenue is from ECHO, though we also use corporate and personal donations to fund advocacy projects. We work internationally, as the advocacy of women’s and children’s rights in disaster situations is needed. In the past we have been involved in projects in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan in 2013, and our media relations helped raise over $5 million dollars towards advocacy projects. We have also worked in Haiti, post-earthquake in 2010, raising over $7.5 million dollars for advocacy of women and children’s rights. The affected populations of both projects were able to raise their voices and effectively express their needs to the local and international communities.
